MJ Beauty was founded by Megan Jordan in April 2019 when she went solo as an eyelash technician after a successful four years in the industry.
In June 2020, amid the coronavirus pandemic, Megan moved from renting a beauty bed in a local hairdressing salon to private premises in Exning, near Newmarket. This is where MJ Lashes and Brows was launched.
Despite closures due to Covid the salon has blossomed. There was such a high demand for beauty treatments that in September 2021 Megan employed her first member of staff, Charlotte. The treatment menu has been extended to include not only lashes and brows but nails and semi-permanent make-up too.

Megan is the founder of MJ Beauty. In April 2019 Megan went solo as an eyelash technician after a successful four years in the industry.
Megan has won and been placed in eyelash competitions throughout the UK and that reflects in the work produced within the salon. She is passionate about her work and loves the detail and intricacy of making her clients’ look and feel amazing.
Megan regularly keeps up-to-date with the latest industry techniques and trends.
In 2021, Megan trained in semi-permanent make-up application and is really excited to be able to offer this in the Salon. The treatments offered are brows, eyeliner and lips.

Charlotte
Therapist
Charlotte has been in the beauty industry for 5 years and is a perfectionist in everything she does. She was awarded 2nd place in The World Skills competition which is a huge achievement and shows how talented she is. You are in the best hands with Charlotte whatever treatment you choose. With a keen eye for nail art, no challenge is too much for her. Charlotte goes above and beyond for her clients and looks forward to welcoming you.

Shannon is a skilled therapist, specializing in the art of eyelash extensions. She is particularly talented at creating stunning Russian volume sets, using the latest techniques and highest quality materials to give you the beautiful, full lashes you’ve always wanted.
